DSDN 112: Brainstorming

My friend Skye and I had to brainstorm the aspects of our chosen sense. We looked into a range of different elements of vision, including elements of how we use our primary sense to influence our other senses, such as perceiving the feel of certain textures based on how they look, and judging a taste of something based on it's appearance.

Another aspect we looked at was how we relate colors (an intense visual stimulus) to certain elements of life, such as heat. emotion, taste and touch.

Vision however is also one of the easiest senses to fool, as demonstrated in many optical illusions, and also one of the first senses to be worn away at by time. We however also use vision to create a whole range of new worlds, such as demonstrated by making a 3-D world on a 2-D plane, like a television. Amazing stuff!

Then we evaluated it's strengths and weaknesses, and also looked at common distortions of the sense.
